Beautiful Days

August 27th, 2005

I took the summer off from farmer’s markets. (to be with my family) Today was my first day back at the Montpelier, Vt. farmer’s market. What a beautiful morning. It was wonderful to catch up with so many nice people. There were folks from many different states. EAT MORE KALE lead to many smiles and conversations. Someone accused me of being a “kale cult” leader. Really I would be the “cupcake cult” leader. Take care and listen to more John Denver.

Random thought

August 23rd, 2005

If you’ve never listened to the music of THE EELS, you should. I love all sorts of music. I’m not president of the THE EELS fan club or anything. I’m just saying, “check it out if you get a chance.”
That is my random thought

it’s a big day

August 20th, 2005

Although the site is still under construction, I’m in “business”. Many more little changes and additions are still to come, yet you can look and around and do some shopping if you wish.

It’s been very exciting to recieve so many orders already this week. Ladies styles are going like hotcakes

This evening I recieved an order from the midwest. The young lady that ordered mentioned that she had seen an “Eat More Kale” shirt on a friend from Pittsburg, named Jonathan Singer. As it turns out, Jonathan is in Vermont for one night only, tonight having dinner with my wife and I. It’s a small world! I love it!!

Have your friends check out eatmorekale.com. I’d love some feedback.

2nd sale!!!!!!

August 18th, 2005

Hey hey, I’ve had my 2nd sale on my “new” site. Really, I won’t announce EVERY sale, yet right now….I’m announcing them. Finally, the ladies have some nice styles to choose from.
My sales this week, have all been from New York. I did attend a music fest outside of Albany last weekend. Giving stickers away certainly wasn’t a waste of time.
Forgive me if I spell his name incorrectly, but a great musician died this week. Vasser Clements, a bluegrass great died at home in Tenn..
He was blessed to play with many of today and yesterdays greatest musicians. I’d like the talent he had in just one of his toes.
I hope you all have a great and safe weekend.

first sale on the “new and improved” site

August 17th, 2005

I’m pleased to report my first sale from the “new and improved” eatmorekale.com . A young lady from the midwest has ordered a ladies long sleeve. Awesome, the ladies cut are beautiful.
I attended one day of a three day fest. this past week called “Gathering of the Vibes”. In addition to meeting some great people and hearing some great music, I got to talk “eat more kale” with a # of folks. I gave a bunch of stickers away and even a couple of shirts to the new “friends” I met. I was wearing an “Eat More Kale” shirt myself. I had a guy ask to take a picture of me, because of the shirt. Isn’t that funny? I don’t have strangers asking to take my picture that often, do you?
